Two New Productions Filming in Sudbury

A feature film and documentary series are setting up to film in Greater Sudbury this month.

The feature film Orah is produced by Amos Adetuyi, a Nigerian/Canadian and Sudbury-born filmmaker. He is the Executive Producer of the CBC series Diggstown, and produced Café Daughter, which shot in Sudbury earlier in 2022. The production will be filming from earlier to mid-November.

The documentary series 180 explores the daily lives of French Canadians across the country who have transformed their personal or professional lives drastically in recent years. You can learn more about the documentary series by visiting the Qub website: https://www.qub.ca/tvaplus/tva/180.

As part of the strategic plan, we continue to work and promote the importance of Arts and Culture in our City and grow our local film industry.
