Citizens Invited to Apply for Appointment to Arts and Culture Project Grant Jury

Applications for the Arts and Culture Grant Jury 2021 are now closed (January 29, 2021 at 4:30 pm).  Thank you for your interest.

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking three citizen volunteers to evaluate applications and recommend funding allocations for special or one-time activities that will support the local arts and culture community in 2021.

The Greater Sudbury Development Corporation (GSDC) administers the Arts and Culture Grant Program annually with the assistance of a volunteer jury. In 2020, the program awarded a total of $571,670 to 39 organizations for special projects and operating expenses.

In 2021, grants for operating expenses will be limited to past applicants to focus on economic recovery from COVID-19. The application process for project grants remains unchanged and is open to all who qualify.

Applicants for the Arts and Culture Project Grant Jury must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Greater Sudbury. Selection will consider fair representation of cultural/artistic disciplines, gender, generations and cultural diversity.

Applications for the Arts and Culture Grant Jury 2021 are now closed (January 29, 2021 at 4:30 pm).
