A A A

Welcome. Bienvenue. Boozhoo.

Thank you for your interest in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot  Program (RNIP) in Sudbury, Ontario. The Sudbury RNIP program is delivered by the City of Greater Sudbury’s Economic Development division and funded by FedNor, the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation, and the City of Greater Sudbury. The RNIP is a unique permanent residence pathway for international workers, aimed toward filling important labour shortages in Sudbury and surrounding communities. The RNIP is designed for workers who have an intention to reside in the community over the long term, and if approved, are granted the ability to apply for permanent residency as well as an LMIA-exempt work permit.

The Sudbury RNIP Program is now closed and is not accepting applications at this time.

IMPORTANT: The City of Greater Sudbury has applied to host the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) programs, however, the participating communities have not yet been selected by the IRCC. Until more information is received regarding these programs, we are unable to provide a timeline on when we will be able to accept applications. Thank you for your understanding.
