Indigenous Partnerships in Mining and Municipal Government
Thank you to all who joined us on March 2, 2025 from 2 – 3 p.m. for an official Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) session focused on Indigenous Partnerships in Mining and Municipal Government.
Through facilitated discussion and audience Q&A, the four leaders discussed the importance of authentic reconciliation and the development of partnerships between municipalities, Indigenous communities, and leaders in the mining industry.
Over the course of the hour key learnings and examples of collaboration with Indigenous communities, from the start of exploration to reclamation were highlights and the speakers explored the challenges, benefits and how these alliances can propel the industry forward.
