RCIP and FCIP

A A A

Welcome. Bienvenue. Boozhoo.

Thank you for your interest in the Greater Sudbury Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) Programs in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. The Sudbury RCIP and FCIP programs are delivered by the City of Greater Sudbury’s Economic Development division and funded by FedNor, the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation, and the City of Greater Sudbury.

The RCIP and FCIP programs are a unique permanent residence pathway for international workers, aimed toward filling important labour shortages in Greater Sudbury and surrounding communities. Both programs are designed for workers who have an intention to reside in the community long term, and if approved, are granted the ability to apply for permanent residency as well as an LMIA-exempt Work Permit.
