RCIP: The Sudbury RCIP Program ranks applications in a pool using a points-based system. Complete applications meeting the eligibility requirements / minimum score of 50 points required will be placed into the Candidate Pool.

FCIP: The Sudbury FCIP Program operates on a first-in, first-out basis. Complete eligible applications will receive a recommendation in the order they are received, until all recommendations have been allocated.

כלל שובר עניבה: If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the complete application that was submitted earliest will receive the recommendation.

Applications not selected for a recommendation will remain in the pool and considered for all draws, עד 6 חודשים. Applications לא ייחשב if they are incomplete or do not meet federal eligibility requirements. It is up to employers to ensure they meet the program requirements and that their application is complete.

RCIP Draws

The City of Greater Sudbury ranks Rural Community Immigration Pilot program applications in a pool using a points-based system. Complete applications meeting the eligibility requirements / minimum score of 50 points required will be placed into the Candidate Pool.

Draws will be completed as per the schedule noted on the RCIP/FCIP Employer page. The highest-scoring applications in the pool as of each draw date will be further assessed by Sudbury RCIP/FCIP staff. Candidates may be requested to participate in a formal interview to further assess their application. The highest-scoring candidates deemed to satisfy the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions will be issued a community recommendation certificate.
